David Chorlton met Roberta in Vienna in the 1970s and the couple moved to Phoenix in 1978. David paints and writes poetry, while Roberta played and taught violin, and passed away suddenly in December. They liked to collaborate in poetry-music performances, such as the one in 2018 from which this video is taken. Roberta included Early music in her range. David has published a lot of his poetry, the latest book being Speech Scroll from Cholla Needles Press, and continues to paint a little.
