Denton Peter McCabe is an American visual artist. McCabe has produced collage, paintings, video, drawings, digital prints, and photography, as well as sound art and musical composition. Originally working strictly as a composer of music, since 2014 McCabe’s visual art has assimilated a multitude of influences that include Dadaism, Abstract Expressionism, Comic Book art, and fetish photography; integrated into a body of work that has retained the improvisational cut-and-paste and computer-generated aesthetic of his earlier musical compositions. McCabe has shown his vast and eclectic catalog throughout the United States and Italy. McCabe is a member of the Navajo Nation and his family is directly descended from the Táchii’nii Clan (Red Running Into the Water People Clan).
