The Punt Volat Award for Poetry includes a $75 award (US dollars, to be converted if necessary) and featured publication in the journal with a brief interview. We accept submissions of up to six poems in English, Castellano, Català, or Deutsch. Depending on the quality of submissions, we will select either one poem or a set of poems by one author. Submit only one set of up to six poems per entry but enter as many times as you like. We are thrilled to announce that the judge for the finalists is Meghan Privitello. Any entries that make our shortlist will be considered for future publication in the journal or in a special issue. We also reserve the right not to select a winner should submissions not meet our standards. We accept .doc(x) or .pdf. Submit via Submittable between 10 January 2021 and 10 March 2021. Standard submissions are also currently open.
Meghan Privitello is the author of One God at a Time (YesYes Books, 2020), Notes on the End of the World, winner of the Black River Chapbook Competition (Black Lawrence Press, 2016), and A New Language for Falling Out of Love (YesYes Books, 2015). Poems have appeared in Guernica, A Public Space, Gulf Coast, Best New Poets, Please Excuse This Poem: 100 New Poets for the Next Generation, and elsewhere.
